CETUSA is a well-respected, non-profit exchange organization, founded in 1995.  We are currently recruiting exceptional people for the position of Community Coordinator in our Academic Year Program.

CETUSA operates all of its programs in accordance with the regulations of the United States Department of State and is designated to issue the DS-2019 enabling AYP students to obtain the J-1 visa.  We are fully listed by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET), an organization that evaluates exchange organizations.  CETUSA endorses and upholds the standards and regulations of both organizations.

Our Community Coordinators are actively involved in the recruitment of quality host families for international high school students from approximately 35 countries, arriving for five and ten month stays.  Community Coordinators work closely with and provide service to students enrolled in our program, the host families, and local high school administrators and staff.  We choose to work with only quality people in all aspects of our operations.  Are you one of these people?

CETUSA provides complete training for Community Coordinators and coaches each for success!

COMMUNITY COORDINATOR COMPENSATION

Coordinators are independent contractors paid a stipend for each student they place and supervise.  The compensation is as follows:

The placement fee is mailed on or about the 7th business day of the month following receipt of the full placement details which must include the completed Host Family Profile and signed School Acceptance.

Supervision payments (total supervision fee divided by the number of program months) are paid on or about the 7th business day of the following month starting in September or January, dependent upon student’s program (i.e. September fees will be paid during the first week of October).

A $100 incentive bonus is paid during the first week of October.  Coordinators qualify for this bonus by placing three or more students by May 1st of the placement season.  Once a Coordinator has qualified, all placements during the contract year qualify.  If a Coordinator signs on after May 1st of the contract year they will have 30 days from the date of signing the Agreement to qualify for this bonus.

An additional bonus of $100.00 per qualified placement is paid to Coordinators for placing students who are guaranteed placement within their region.

One Travel Point is awarded for each qualified placement.  7 points are required to earn the annual international trip.

To start placing students as soon as possible please remember that you will need to complete:

  1. Online Coordinator Profile
  2. Community Coordinator Profile
  3. Criminal Background Check
  4. Community Coordinator Agreement
  5. W-9 Form

When all of these are complete please send them to the Regional Director in your area. The Regional Director will be displayed for you once you have completed step one above.
