Brazil

Teach in an English Language School!

  • Duration: 3-6 months
  • Beginning dates: March through December
  • Application deadline: 3 months prior the program start
  • Paid or unpaid: Paid (pay will vary depending on the classes you teach)
  • Host family: Yes, you will live with a carefully selected Brazilian family. In exchange for your room and board, you will help them with their English twice a week during your stay (you will not receive payment for this teaching time, only for the classes you teach at the English Language School).

Germany

Try our Language Assistant Program – help a German family with English!

  • Host family: Yes, you will live with a prescreened German host family. In exchange for your room and board, you will help the family with their English 10 to 15 hours per week during your stay.

Thailand

Teach English in a primary or a secondary school!

  • Duration: 4-5 months
  • Beginning dates: 1st semester: May – September; 2nd semester: October – March
  • Application Deadline: January 20th for 1st semester; July 19th for 2nd semester
  • Paid or unpaid: Paid. You will be paid $7.00 per hour and will be teaching 22-30 hours per week.
  • Host Family: Yes. You will have the opportunity to live with a local Thai family during your stay.

Other benefits: Full Medical insurance provided as well as a free one way ticket back to the U.S. (upon successful completion of the program).
