Private High School Program for Community Coordinators

Community Coordinators

Friendly, local Community Coordinators match international students from more than 50 countries with host families and schools in their area. Coordinators support students and families with orientations and regular contact throughout the entire program.

CETUSA Coordinator responsibilities for the Private High School Program include:

  • CETUSA Coordinator training
  • Student placements and supervision
  • Student and host-family orientations
  • Monthly contact with host families, students, and schools
  • Pre-departure and re-entry guidance

CETUSA Coordinators earn money while furthering global peace and understanding.

Benefits

Each of our coordinators is an independent contractor. We pay a stipend for each student they place and supervise. The placement fee is mailed on or about the 10th business day of the month and is sent as soon as we receive the full placement details. Supervision payments (total supervision fee divided by the number of program months) are paid on or about the 10th business day of the following month starting in September or January, dependent upon student’s program (i.e. September fees will be paid during the first week of October).

A $100 incentive bonus is paid during the first week of October. Coordinators qualify for this bonus by placing three or more students by May 1st of the placement season. Once a Coordinator has qualified, all placements during the contract year qualify. If a Coordinator signs on after May 1st of the contract year they will have 30 days from the date of signing the Agreement to qualify for this bonus.

Our coordinators are also awarded one Travel Point for each student they place. Travel points may be saved up to participate in the annual CETUSA International Trip (7 points). The 2009 trip was to Rome, Italy. What fun!
