Short Term Programs

CETUSA’s Short Term Programs are brief linguistic and cultural adventures in the U.S.A. Host families and international students alike benefit from a taste of sharing in one another’s viewpoints and ethnic backgrounds.

CETUSA offers:

  • Three or four-week Group Programs in which students ages 12 – 20 take conversational English lessons together and see local points of interest with a CETUSA Coordinator. Click here for sample itinerary.
  • Four-week English as a Second Language (ESL) Programs that help international students ages 12 – 20 significantly improve their English. Click here for sample itinerary.
  • Three or four-week Total Immersion Programs without ESL, which allow students of exceptional maturity (suggested ages 12 – 22) to live with an American host family and experience what it’s like to be an American teenager or young adult

If you’re a host family, you’ll house an international student and show him or her some of your American family traditions. During these summer or holiday programs, students expect to participate in whatever activities you or your children are doing at the time.

CETUSA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Americans and those from other cultures to gain a better understanding of one another.
