Private High School Program for Community Coordinators

How it Works

CETUSA Coordinator responsibilities for the Private High School Program include:

  • Completing CETUSA’s Coordinator training
  • Locating, interviewing and qualifying host families
  • Placing students according to State Department regulations, CSIET standards and CETUSA policies
  • Completing and submitting placement paperwork
  • Conducting host family pre-arrival orientations
  • Conducting student/host family post-arrival orientations
  • Completing and submitting monthly evaluation reports
  • Informing CETUSA of any problems with their placement(s)
  • Relocating students when necessary
  • Securing back-up host families
