Dear CETUSA Team,
Thank you greatly for all help and support for my stay (and extended thanks to my coordinator Diane Fromme and to the Fritz family, which hosted me during my stay in Colorado).
It was a priviledge to be able to stay in the USA for 10 months. Merely 20 years ago, my countrymen could only dream of such possibility. And now I am here, summarizing up the experiences on my stay. Although not yet finished, I can see clearly that my stay & study in the USA was a priceless experience and that it will definitely have a very positive effect on my life. Here in the USA, I went to my first seminar about success. Here, I was able to expand my worldview far beyond that of individual nations into a truly international approach. Here, I found more clearly what my life purpose is. And finally, here in the United States of America, I began living and working on my dreams.
For an opportunity to do all of that, I express to you my greatest thanks. Thank you!
I even plan to become a host parent one day, to help the next generation of students understand life and see it from a broader view.
I find very little that remains open for improvement. Yet, I see one area where I believe more can be accomplished: the cost of the program.. If there is any way to cut the cost for the students at least a bit, it could have a big impact on the number of students who are able to participate. Many students in foreign counties cannot afford to participate in such programs, which, as we all know, is really a pitty.
Could you please write me that does the cost consist of? How much is the health insurance? What and how big are other major expenses? What makes up most of the cost?
I strongly believe that if the foreign exchange programs became more affordable and if at least 5% of high school students from each country would participate such programs, we will create an era of understanding and peace among nations!
Yours Sincerely,
Tomas
