The host company provides products and services worldwide and specializes in the engineering and
production of high technology, thin wall flexible metal components and systems for automotive and
industrial applications. It has diverse engineering and manufacturing resources to design and build unique
metal bellows assemblies and metal joining solutions for customer applications. They are vertically
integrated with all engineering disciplines and manufacturing processes in-house. Sophisticated
engineering tools including CAD/CAM and 3D Solid modeling are utilized to support challenging
applications.
Position Description:
- Test Engineer trainee with LabVIEW programming experience who enjoys systems-level solution development, unique technical challenges, assignments spanning a broad range of application spaces, and also has the initiative to take on complex engineering projects and drive them to completion.
- Trainee will be a part of the complete system development cycle including quoting, design, system build, check-out, delivery, and post-launch support.
- Trainee will interact directly with customers and required to deliver project status to the company’s management team on a regular basis.
- Explore the manufacturing functions such as manufacturing engineering, production control, quality engineering, purchasing, safety, environmental, and manufacturing management to develop and implement solutions
Applicant Qualifications:
- To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be Electrical & Computer Engineering
- Technology, or Mechanical Engineering undergraduate/graduate students OR a be recent
- graduates who begin program within 12 months of the graduation date.
- To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold Electrical & Computer Engineering
- Technology, or Mechanical Engineering degrees and have least 1 year of professional work
- experience related to the degree, OR be career professionals of 5 or more years of professional
- experience in this field
- Must speak fluent English (reading and writing)
- Must be proficient in LabVIEW, C, C++, C#, .NET, and/or PLC programming experience.
- Experience with requirements analysis and tracking
- Test strategy development (test sequencing/data collection).
