Host Company Description:

The host is a founder-led beverage alcohol importer based in Long Island, that assists wine, spirits, RTD, and non-alcoholic brands enter and grow in the U.S. market. Managing compliance, import logistics, warehousing, and distribution support, they have been serving more than 100 beverage brands since 2021.

Position Description:

• Assist with the development and maintenance of internal software applications and business tools.
• Support the design, testing, debugging, and deployment of software solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, and logistics teams to gather and implement technical requirements.
• Help manage and analyze data to improve reporting, workflow automation, and decision-making.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Gain hands-on experience with software development best practices, databases, APIs, and agile project methodologies.
• Contribute to technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and client service.

Applicant Qualifications:

• To apply for an internship program, applicant must be a software engineering/computer science student OR a recent graduate starting the program within 12 months of graduation.
• To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must have either a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least 1 year of prior related work experience in the software engineering/computer science  field acquired outside the United States OR 5+ years of experience in this field.
• 1+ years of experience in software/web development preferred
• Applicants must speak advanced English, with attention to detail and time management
• Proficiency with software development tools and programs
