Local Coordinator – Open Now!

CETUSA Local Coordinators (“LCs”) are a nationwide network of 1099 contractors who are passionate about cultural exchange. CETUSA local coordinator work the communities where they live and are supported remotely by a CETUSA Regional Director and CETUSA staff.  Post-secondary education is not required, and training is provided by CETUSA. Local Coordinators choose how many students they want to place and supervise. Hours are flexible and work is done mostly from home.

Local Coordinators:

  • Recruit volunteer Host Families no further than a 60 mile radius from where the LC lives
  • Help prospective Host Familes choose an exchange student from avaialable student profiles and complete the online Host Family Application 
  • Check Host Family references
  • Secure acceptance for exchange students and the student’s US high school
  • Provide support to both students and Host Families for the duration of the student’s program
  • Respond to questions and support needs from exchange students, their Host Families, and high school(s).
