Assists student placements and relocations process for the High School Program.

Requirements

  • Monitor and address items in the Pending Placement Tracker.
  • Processes student placements and relocations and send to agents.
  • Submit and/or records CBC’s for prospective host families.
  • Corresponds with Regional Directors and Local Coordinators concerning host family profile findings.
  • Corresponds with external partners regarding placement questions or issues.
  • Creates and manages Monthly Missing Placement Paperwork report.
  • Manage documents in digital and physical files.
  • Proofread Host Families profiles and request corrections as needed.
  • Update school information in ZAPP.

Education and/or Experience                                                        

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                                                  

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills                                                            

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability                                                               

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills                                                                  

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must have working experience with Microsoft Office products (including Word and Excel) or another word processing and spreadsheet programs such as Google Suite.
