Host Company Description:

The host company is a comprehensive CPA firm offering financial and tax consultancy for both local and international clients, facilitating investment opportunities in the US. With a team of US and international professionals, they specialize in various services such as start-up consulting, business planning, and financial statement preparation, bridging language barriers with proficiency in four languages. The trainee will assist in tax preparation to ensure legal compliance and financial accuracy for their diverse clientele.

Position Description:

• Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments
• Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts; ensure accuracy, prepare monthly reports and journal entries
• Assist with preparing annual 1099’s, annual corporate and individual tax returns
• Assist with the annual budget and audit process

Applicant Qualifications:

• To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold Business / Accounting degrees and have at least 1 year of professional work experience related to the degree, OR be career professionals of 5 or more years in this field
• Excellent English skills (written and verbal) and Turkish fluency is required
• 2 years accounting is experience preferred; having international tax experience is a big plus
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Experience in individual and business taxes is a must
