This host company is a 4-star beachfront boutique known for its relaxed island atmosphere, ocean views, and easy access to popular Florida Keys activities such as fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and boating. Islamorada is known as the “sport fishing capital of the world,” and is also known for its spectacular snorkeling sites. The Florida Keys are home to many state parks, mangrove forests, and cultural hubs like Key West.
Position Description:
- Learn all aspects of food service in an upscale hotel
- Aid in upholding the highest quality standards for the food and beverage operation
- Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
- Advance management skills and supervisory duties
- Shifts may include serving, food-running, or hosting in the restaurants, bar, or pool.
Applicant Qualifications:
- To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be hospitality or restaurant management undergraduate/graduate students OR a be recent graduates who begin program within 12 months of the graduation date
- To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold hospitality or restaurant management degrees and have least 1 year of professional work experience related to the degree, OR be career professionals of 5 or more years of professional experience in this field
- Applicants must speak ADVANCED ENGLISH, have a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with clients and hotel associates
